Mac System Software 1.0 Finder 0.97 was officially released on 1984-01-24 with the Mac 128K. There was a earlier version which had a finder version of 0.85. To create confusion on what to call this, Apple has two about boxes in this version of 1.0. The one in the Apple Menu says, “1.0” and the other one on the Mac System Software disk says, “0.97”.
